Manado, February 18, 2025 – Grand China Travel officially launched its inaugural charter flight on the Manado (MDC) – Kunming (KMG) route in collaboration with Lucky Air on Tuesday, February 18, 2025. The opening of this route is a strategic step in strengthening international connectivity while promoting tourism growth in North Sulawesi.
The inaugural flight took place at Sam Ratulangi International Airport in Manado and was attended by the President Director of Grand China Travel, Mrs. Khoe Ting Tjen, and the Commercial and Business Development Director of PT Gapura Angkasa, Mr. Reza Aulia Hakim, as the ground handling service provider. The welcoming ceremony included a traditional water salute. Synergy between the parties is expected to ensure the smooth operation of this international flight.
Flights to Kunming depart from Sam Ratulangi Airport in Manado (MDC) at 3:40 a.m. local time with flight number 8L846 (MDC-KMG). Conversely, flights from Kunming Changsui Airport (KMG) arrive in Manado at 9:33 p.m. local time with flight number 8L845 (KMG-MDC). The service operates three times a week on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays using the Airbus 320 NEO fleet.
The Manado–Kunming route is operated as a charter flight with the main target being tourists from China. The presence of this route is expected to increase foreign tourist visits, expand economic cooperation opportunities, and strengthen tourism relations between Indonesia and China.

Riasari Prasetyawati, an Indonesian citizen, was born in 1978. She obtained a Bachelor's degree in Communication from the Faculty of Communication Sciences at Mercu Buana University in 2013.
Serving as Corporate Secretary of the Company since 2025, responsible for all compliance with applicable regulations in Indonesia and good corporate governance.
Previously, he worked at PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk from 2009 to 2024 and has more than 15 years of experience in corporate governance and secretarial affairs.
Director of Operations
Yunita Widjaja, an Indonesian citizen, was born in 1967. She obtained a diploma from the Tarakanita Secretarial Academy in 1988.
Serving as the Company's Chief Operating Officer since 2023.
Previously, she served as Senior Manager at PT Wisata Dewa (2021-2023) and General Manager at PT Bayu Buana Tbk. (1988-2020).

Khoe Ting Tjen, an Indonesian citizen, was born in 1970. He obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chinese Literature from Ji Nan University in 1994.
She has been working in the Company for approximately 5 years. Previously he served as Director of PT Kemilau Cahaya Lestari (2013-2018), and was the Owner of Xin Xin Bu Xi Ban (2012-2015).
